3. Power and Capacity: A better way to compare these batteries is usually by capacity and intended use, not by broad amperage claims. Golf cart batteries are built to handle repeated deep discharges and long run times in electric vehicles, while many RV and marine deep-cycle batteries are selected to power accessories, appliances, trolling motors, and onboard systems. The right battery depends on how much energy the application needs and how the system is wired.

4. Charging Requirements: Charging requirements can differ based on the battery type, voltage, and charger profile.
